Stephen Weed grew up in New Britain, Connecticut. Drawing was a constant part of Steve's life growing up, so much so that he decided to do it as a career. Steve attended Rhode Island School of Design to further his artistic studies and majored in Illustration. After subsisting on fried chicken tenders for four years, Steve graduated in 2006.

Now, Steve lives in Kensington, Connecticut. When he's not drawing, he reads books, watches miniseries, and plays roleplaying games.

2007 Dejobaan Games - Freelance concept designer for enemy concepts for upcoming first-person shooter, Galaxy Rage.

2007 Magic Universe - Freelance illustrator and designer for company mascot for an online hobby store.

2004 New Britain Museum of American Art - Research Assistant to the director. Researched exhibit of both contemporary and historical artists. Wrote accompanying essay and explanatory labels for the exhibit. Essay was published in the exhibit's brochure.
